As one of the only clubs in this region offering football programs from Community Football through to National Premier League and everything in between, we pride ourselves on offering development programs for players at all stages of their development. Our Football philosophy recognises the value of identifying and developing talent from within the club, to provide a rich source of quality players for Premier Youth League and National Premier League teams, and beyond.

The Phoenix Foundation is exclusively for Valentine FC players aged U7 to U12. Small group training sessions run by our experienced coaches focus on the essential fundamentals of football that create the FOUNDATION of a competent footballer, preparing them with skills and knowledge to step up to more competitive football programs if they choose to do so in the future, or upskill for their current level.

Players will remain aligned with their junior club team for training and match days and will attend Phoenix Foundation training sessions one night per week, helping develop their skills and love for the game.

The program is run by our Football Department and is overseen by our experienced A-License coach and Junior Technical Director Cas Wright. Cas is joined by experienced senior and youth players from the Club. The sessions are fast-paced, challenging, and most importantly, lot’s of fun. We have seen players benefit from the experience that Phoenix Foundation offers, and are confident that  the program will position players to get the most out of their footballing journey.

We like our players to look the part so we’ve sourced some smart player kits for the Phoenix Foundation. Players can purchase their Phoenix Foundation player kits for $60, payable with registration if you don’t already have one Each kit contains a Foundation branded player jersey, shorts and socks. We would encourage all players to wear their kit to all Foundation training sessions.
